Do braces hurt?

Is there a dental crown for children?

A crown may be used on primary (baby) teeth in order to save a tooth that has been so damaged by decay that it can't support a filling.
Saving a primary teeth until it is time for the eruption of its permanent successor is important. This way, the permanent tooth can erupt in its correct place and the need for future orthodontic treatment can be minimized.

Is sugar really bad for my teeth?

Sugar itself is not the problem. How long the sugar stays on teeth is the problem.
Given enough time, the bacteria in your mouth feed on the sugar and excrete damaging acid that can eat through enamel, forming cavities. So if you eat sugary food, brush your teeth afterwards if you can or chew some sugar-free gum.
